How many people can fit under an umbrella?

I was just looking through some of my old pictures from previous weddings and happened to fall upon this picture. It always makes me smile! It was raining that day, no, acutally it was pouring!!! I still feel so bad for the bride becuase the whole time we were outside it rained. But Anya was unbelivable and didn't let a single rain drop ruin her day. When we got to the reception no one could even tell we were photographing out in the rain...We got soaked!

Sunday evening in Texas

Last week after church, when we came home I did a small photo shoot with my kiddos. The sun was setting quickly, and they were fairly grumpy from sitting at church for an hour. Anyway, I thought the pictures turned out fairly nice. Enjoy!

Up on the mountain

A couple of weeks ago, my husband and I got to travel up state New York for a few days...While visiting the area, we went to the top of Bear Mountain and found a little tree in middle of all the rocks...This is what I captured...I love it!

Happy 4th!

I love fireworks, however, I haven't been able to see them in quite a while because it either rains, the kids are about to fall asleep or else something else comes up. This year I will miss them again, because I am working night shift at the hospital....maybe I might catch a glimpse from  a patients window. So here is a picture to those who will miss them this year.

Can you hear the thunder?

The past two nights we've been having rain with lightning and thunder. All this reminded me of a picture I took a while back while we were in Clearwater Beach, FL. It was our last night on the beach and we had to stay indoors that evening because a sever storm was approaching us. The whole family sat for a couple of hours on the balcony watching the beauty of the storm forming over our heads. It was so magical, magnificant, and just beuatiful to see God's hand paint the skies and the water. Here is a shot I took of the storm. This picture just reminds me of how awesome our God trully is!

Artem and Nadia

A while back in March my brother and his wife celebrated their 5th wedding anniversary. I did a small photo shoot prior to them going out. We had a blast since these are one of the closest people in my life. It was fun, and many bystanders kept on looking over to our directions because we were laughing so hard. It was kind of hard to not crack up laughing when we were trying for the serious 1920's vintage type of feel. Enjoy!

A blog for a my thoughts

With this picture my photography dreams began to grow. I still remeber the excitement I had when I looked at the printed picture. I keep on lookin at it, over and over and over again...I kept on telling my self that I can do photography...and so...almost five years later, I am a photographer. Growing and trying, learning and experiancing, but I love what I am doing. I enjoy everything about photography. So with this blog, I am going to continue to show my work and my skills, I'll reveal things about me, and share my pictures. I think that's all I can say about a first blog post. In regards to the picture, I love roses, and yes, this is a real rose, it smelled really nice, like a real rose should smell.
