Birthday Party

Recently I shot a birthday party of a very cute and smart six year old. The mom did an amzing job of organizing a whole science lab. Most of the drawings, the cake, and even the lab coats the mother drew her self. In the midst of taking all the pictures I got a great science lesson! Enjoy!

An innocent moment

A few days ago, our family enjoyed a little break in our hectic schedule to go over and celebrate our brother-in-law's birthday. It was a fun day with lots of good food, laughter, family time, and our kids got to enjoy a time to waddle in a kiddie pool. My neice can be a precious little thing. She got mad got up on the bench and sat there for a while of a brief secound. That little second forever caught, an image that holds true and purest innocents. Enjoy!

Friends

This weekend we had the pleasure of hosting my husband childhood friend at our place. My husband and Andrey have grown up together in Ukraine. Andrey and his wife visited for only a short time, while they attended a close friends wedding in the city. It was so nice to see them again, and it was nice having them over. Hopefully someday soon, we will be able to visit them in Utah.

Weekend Fun with Family

This weekend we celebrated my mother-in-laws birthday. Unfortunately, I was working the nigth shift the night prior and was completly sleep deprived. However, I was able to capture a coule of my dearest neice Sophie. Today our family got a late start out, but we managed to go to the park and have our first "shashlik" of the season. The kids enjoyed goofing off. The food was good. As always we have some kind of issues while were out and about, and this time we forgot to take lighter fluid with us...so we tried to burn the charcoal with twigs...um...it was intreasting...but we made the fire going and were able to do the shashlik. On the way home we stopped by a pick your own strawberry field. The kids enjoyed looking for the big juicy berries...and we enjoyed eating later once we got home...Fresh strawberries are delishes directly from the field, you can't find these yummy strawberries at the store. So here are the pictures. ENJOY! Have a Happy Memorial Day! And on that note, I am so happy I live in this country where I am. Thank you to those who fought in wars and allowed me to enjoy such a beautiful day!

A favorite from recent wedding

Some one asked me recently about my favorite image. I have such a hard time find one single image. Each one for me is individual with emotions, character, and is special in so many ways. However, this one image was the first one I thought of when the question was asked. It trully is special in so many ways. The people that were there during this time can probably put themselves back to that senerio. The hustle and bustle of everyone getting ready, the limo outside, the groom downstairs, the hairsprays firing left and right, and the bride in the middle of the room, taking a quite time to reflect on this special day in her life.
