This weekend we celebrated my mother-in-laws birthday. Unfortunately, I was working the nigth shift the night prior and was completly sleep deprived. However, I was able to capture a coule of my dearest neice Sophie. Today our family got a late start out, but we managed to go to the park and have our first "shashlik" of the season. The kids enjoyed goofing off. The food was good. As always we have some kind of issues while were out and about, and this time we forgot to take lighter fluid with us...so we tried to burn the charcoal with twigs...um...it was intreasting...but we made the fire going and were able to do the shashlik. On the way home we stopped by a pick your own strawberry field. The kids enjoyed looking for the big juicy berries...and we enjoyed eating later once we got home...Fresh strawberries are delishes directly from the field, you can't find these yummy strawberries at the store.
